Orange Regional Medical Center Announces Additions to Executive Leadership

Middletown, NY- Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce several leadership changes within the organization.

Dr. Jim Oxley, has accepted the position of Vice President, Medical Affairs. Dr. Oxley has a long history of outstanding leadership at Orange Regional. Before joining Med Excel in 2006, his company provided Emergency Medicine Services at the Arden Hill Campus for nearly 20 years. Dr. Oxley is currently the Chief of Staff for Orange Regional and a member of the Board of Directors. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1970 and served in the Army as a Special Services Officer, and later, in the medical corps as an Internal Medicine Physician. Dr. Oxley is also a graduate of The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is Board Certified in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine.

Jonathan Schiller, Administrator, Revenue Cycle Management has accepted the position of Vice President/ Administrator, Arden Hill Campus. Jonathan has been with Orange Regional since 2004. He has led Orange Regional's highly successful managed care strategy. Jonathan has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Services from LeMoyne College and a Masters Degree in Health Systems Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Jerry Dunlavey, Administrator, Orthopedic, Neuroscience, Rehabilitation and Oncology Services, has been promoted to Vice President, Business Development for Orange Regional. Jerry has been with Orange Regional since 1999. In addition to his current responsibilities, Jerry will lead the Cardiology Program and will be responsible for developing new business initiatives. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Iona College, a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and is currently enrolled in the MBA Program at Iona College.

Orange Regional Medical Center Offers Relief for Sufferers of Sleep Disorders.

Practitioners Join Staff at Orange Regional Medical Center

Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome the following practitioners to its medical staff:

David Brizer, M.D. has joined Orange Regional as Medical Director for Behavioral Health Services (BHS). Dr. Brizer joins the Behavioral Health Services Leadership Team with over 15 years of management experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction services. In addition to his Board Certification in Psychiatry and Neurology, he has specialty training in Addiction Medicine, Geriatric Psychiatry and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Brizer has experience as a primary investigator in clinical trials involving neuropsychiatric medications and has an extensive professional editorial and publishing background in the mental health field.

Giacomo Vinces, D.O. has joined Orange Regional Medical Center as a General Surgeon.

Dr. Vinces received his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, New York. He completed his residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York and is board-certified in General Surgery. Dr. Vinces joins us after having worked at Bon Secours Community Hospital for the past three years. He is available initially to perform emergency department and inpatient surgical evaluations at both the Arden Hill and Horton Campuses. Eventually, he will have office hours.
