The Orange Regional Employee Capital Campaign
Orange Regional Medical Center employees launched an employee giving campaign called the "Possible Dream" in September 2008 to raise funds for the new hospital project. The objective was to provide employees with information about the new hospital and ask each of them to make a financial commitment. It is part of the overall $21,000,000 Capital Campaign goal that is expected to be reached prior to the new Orange Regional Medical Center opening in 2011.
The Employee Campaign consisted of a "Dream Team," made up of volunteers from the three Orange Regional campuses. The "Dream Team" organized a kick-off in September 2008, followed by outreach activities lead by employee volunteer ambassadors. A "Power of One" Club was formed for everyone wishing to contribute one hour of pay per pay period for three years. The significance of the "Power of One" Club is: One person. One hour. To build one hospital.
