Ways to Give

The Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization whose sole purpose is to encourage philanthropic support for Orange Regional Medical Center. Funds raised through the Foundation's activities are used to acquire state-of-the-art medical equipment and support a wide range of healthcare programs for the community. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of volunteer representatives from throughout our community.

Gifts to Orange Regional Medical Center can be made in many forms. Large or small, in cash, securities or real estate, made outright or provided for in a will or trust, donated in memory of, or in tribute to a friend or loved one - each gift is gratefully received and is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and your own tax circumstances.

For more information about effective ways to support Orange Regional Medical Center, please contact the Foundation office at 845-333-2333 or foundation@ormc.org.

The "Honor Roll of Donors" will periodically be updated to include the most recent donations to our new hospital. Memorial Gifts

At a difficult time in our lives, we often think of making Memorial Gifts as gestures of love, remembrance and appreciation in lieu of sending flowers. The Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation receives many Memorial Gifts throughout the year and often they are designated for a specific area or department of the hospital. The Foundation Office sends an acknowledgement to the family that a gift was made in memory of their loved one. To make a Memorial Gift, please contact the Foundation Office at 845-333-2333 or go to Online Donations to make a secure, online donation.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations and businesses encourage philanthropy by matching employee donations. For example, if you made a $100 donation to Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation, your employer might match that and also contribute $100. Please ask your Human Resources Department if they offer a matching gift program.

Gifts-In-Kind

Throughout the year Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation conducts events and seeks donations of goods and services to be used as auction items, give-aways or prizes. For example, gift certificates for restaurants, beverages and snacks for the Golf Classic, prizes for drawings, etc. If you would like to discuss an opportunity to support through a Gift-in-Kind donation, please contact the Foundation Office.

Planned Giving Program

Planned Gifts are a wonderful way to make a larger and more meaningful gift, but many people do not consider this option. Orange Regional has been the recipient of several generous bequests over the years. Planned gifts require the expert assistance of an attorney, estate planner or other professionals who can best decide your personal circumstances and tax savings benefits. Examples of the most common planned gifts include bequests, appreciated securities, life insurance, annuities and trusts. If you are contemplating a planned gift to benefit Orange Regional, it is our hope to know in advance to recognize the donor now in our Planned Giving Society.  View our quarterly publication entitled Giving Wisely.

To receive Giving Wisely, please email Foundation@ormc.org or call us at 845-333-2333.

Capital Campaign

Building for Excellence

History is being made in New York, and residents of Orange and Sullivan counties have an opportunity to become a part of it. Last year, Orange Regional Medical Center launched its $21 million Building for Excellence Capital Campaign. As the Campaign now enters the community phase, the individuals who have come to depend on the hospital and its services have the ability to guarantee that the highest quality healthcare remains close to home.

This multi-year campaign is centered on the construction of a brand new hospital in the Town of Wallkill. Located on 61 acres at 707 East Main Street near the Route 17 and I-84 interchange, the new Orange Regional Medial Center- the first construction of its kind in the state of New York in 20 years - will eliminate the need to drive long distances to receive treatment and will allow us to enhance and expand current programs in addition to attracting additional specialty physicians and healthcare providers to our staff.

Please consider being part of our heritage of caring. You can help continue our legacy of providing superior healthcare by clicking on the attached pledge form and making a donation. Whether it is a one-time gift or a pledge over a period of months or years, your contribution will allow Orange Regional Medical Center to continue Building for Excellence.
