Tours and Family Education
To help answer questions and prepare you for the birth of your child, Orange Regional Medical Center offers several community health education classes, programs, tours and support groups.

Rowley Family Birthing Center Tours
- Registration is required
- Tours will be conducted twice per month
- Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.
- Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.
- Tours are approximately one hour
- Please meet in the hospital lobby for beginning of tour
- Children are permitted on the tour

Family Education and Support Groups
Weekend Lamaze Class
Learn breathing and relaxation techniques and what to expect during the phases of childbirth for both vaginal and C-section births. Classes meet on Saturday and Sunday and attendance is required on both days. Partners are encouraged to attend.
This class is designed to prepare children (ages 3 or older) for arrival of their new sibling
This class discusses the benefits of breastfeeding for mother and baby. There is a review of the anatomy and physiology of the breast. Discussion topics include latch-on, proper positioning for breastfeeding and some common situations such as engorgement, soreness, treatments and sleepy baby. Further discussions include use of breast pumps, diet and use of medication while breastfeeding. Spanish-speaking breastfeeding classes are available.
New Moms' Support Group
TWe welcome new mothers and their babies (ages 0 to 9 months) to share experiences, discuss questions with other new moms, exchange ideas and challenges, gain knowledge and learn skills regarding newborn care and parenting.
