Family is the focus of the Rowley Family Birthing Center, and with a recent renovation and grand re-opening, including the colorful display of commissioned artwork, it's a place where each family member is treated as part of the team so moms can thrive with the support and love that a family provides.

At the Birthing Center, you'll be cared for by a skilled team of maternity care specialists, many with national credentials, and lactation specialists in a comfortable environment.

To ensure the needs of mother and baby are met in complete comfort and privacy, six Labor, Delivery and Recovery rooms are furnished with birthing beds, wall coverings and decorative furnishings offering a relaxing atmosphere. The Center also has two of its own operating rooms for cesarean sections so mothers do not have to transfer to another unit within the hospital. Mothers and their newborns recover in one of our 18 private / semi private rooms while our single maternity suite is available on a first come first served basis.

Nursing staff is trained to provide care in conjunction with the physician or mid-wife and according to each mother's birth plan. There are 19 separate postpartum Mother-Baby rooms that bring mother and baby to a different room, away from laboring mothers, ensuring their undisturbed rest.
