The United States Military Academy at West Point is America’s oldest military academy. The exquisite campus is open year round for tours, sporting events and more.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts

The not-for-profit Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock Festival and attracts some of the biggest names in music and entertainment to its outdoor amphitheater.

Dining and Entertainment

With local farms and fresh produce in abundance, the Hudson Valley region offers some of the best dining in the country and attracts some of the most talented chefs from the nearby Culinary Institute of America. Our performing arts centers and museums rival those found in Manhattan, though Broadway is just a short drive away.

Wineries, Distilleries, Cideries & Breweries

The Hudson Valley’s wineries follow in the tradition of winemaking established in the region more than 300 years ago, and include Brotherhood, America’s Oldest Winery. There are also many distilleries throughout the region including Dancing Cat Distillery, Tuthilltown Spirits and Orange County Distillery. In addition, you will find more than a dozen craft breweries with the award-winning Roscoe Beer Company, Rushing Duck Brewing Company and Newburgh Brewing Company. As far as cideries go, you'll find great tasting rooms at Soons Orchards, Pennings Farm Market, Applewood Orchards and more.

Bear Mountain State Park

The beautiful Bear Mountain State Park welcomes more visitors each year than Yellowstone National State Park, and it is perfect for lodging, hiking, biking, ice skating and cross-country skiing.

Adelaar Resort & Montreign Casino

Scheduled to open in 2017, the four season's destination resort will feature a 80,000-square-foot Casino, 390 Luxury Hotel Rooms and Suites, 18-hole Monster Golf Course redesigned by "The Open Doctor," Reese Jones, Indoor Water Park Lodge, Entertainment Village featuring shops, restaurants, movie theater and bowling.

 

Monticello Motor Club

The Monticello Motor Club is North America’s premier automotive resort and private racetrack dedicated to automotive enthusiasts.

Mountains

The Hudson Valley and Catskills Region is home to many of the most-famous mountain ranges in the Northeast. The Catskill, Pocono and Shawangunk Mountains are all just minutes away and offer great hiking, biking, rock climbing, skiing and many other outdoor activities throughout the year. The Catskill Region is known for its many fly fishing spots for the perfect catch.
