Patients/Preparing for your Visit
Orange Regional's helpful registration team will guide you through the registration process upon your arrival. Please remember to bring your identification, insurance information, a list of current non-prescription and prescription medications and any documentation required - referrals, pre-authorization forms and/or physician orders - with you on the day of your visit. This information is handled confidentially and ensures that accurate data is available for those involved with your care. If your visit is for a specific test or procedure, please make sure you have scheduled the appointment in advance. Scheduling phone numbers can be found on the Patient Information tab under individual clinical departments. Laboratory and diagnostic imaging can be found under the Hospital Services tab.
Your Personal Belongings and Valuables
The only things you may need to bring to the hospital are a robe, slippers, pajamas or nightgown, eyeglasses and essential toiletries. Since the hospital is not responsible for the safekeeping of personal belongings or valueables, unless they are check in with Security, you should not bring or keep jewelry, a watch, large sums of money, cell phone or electronics with you. You might want to keep only enough cash for magazines, newspapers or other incidental items. If you cannot send valuables home, you can check them in with Security upon admission or through your nurse.
