Orange Regional Medical Center Appoints Nursing Administrator of Critical Care

Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Angel Angeles, RN, MS, CCRN as Nursing Administrator of Critical Care.

In his new role, Mr. Angeles will use his expertise in patient centered care and strong leadership skills to oversee the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Progressive Care Units (PCU) throughout the Hospital. He will also oversee the Central Telemetry and Dialysis Units.

Mr. Angeles has more than 30 years’ experience in nursing. His most recent position was Administrative Nursing Manager of an 18-bed cardiac and cardiac surgical Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Montefiore Medical Center, Weiler Hospital. He also acted as Patient Care Director, New York-Presbyterian / at Columbia University Medical Center, where he managed a 31-bed Cardiothoracic ICU for 6 years.

Mr. Angeles earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of St. Thomas in Manila, Philippines. He earned his Master of Science degree in Health Services Administration from Iona College in NY. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Leadership from Felician University in Lodi, NJ. Mr. Angeles is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, a member of the American Association of Nurse Executives and is an associate at the American College of Health Care Executives.
