Foundation Honors Donors

April 27, 2010

(Middletown, NY) – On April 15, the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation held its Annual Donor Recognition Reception at the Fountains at Wallkill Golf Club in Middletown.

Foundation Chairman Rolland B. Peacock, III thanked the crowd of over 250 for their philanthropic support. He praised the efforts of the Foundation Trustees and Orange Regional Medical Center’s Board of Directors, Employees, Volunteers and Auxiliary. “Last year, we raised $2.1 million in philanthropic support. The majority of this was for the Building for Excellence Capital Campaign in support of the new hospital. Since the inception of the campaign, we have raised an unprecedented $19 million towards our goal of $21 million. We are so thankful for the support we have received already from our employees, physicians, community organizations and individuals,” Peacock said.

Orange Regional Medical Center’s annual giving program includes the Century Club, gifts from grateful patients and their families and gifts made in honor or in memory of a loved one.

There are many ways to give to the capital campaign including cash donations, securities or real estate, closely held stock, life insurance, provisions in a will or trust and corporate matching gifts.
