FREE COLON CANCER SCREENINGS AT ORANGE REGIONAL’S COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATION CENTER

Middletown – Orange Regional Medical Center is offering free colon cancer screenings on March 25, 26, and 27 at the Community Health Education Center, 110 Crystal Run Road, Middletown. Screenings will be performed by William Goumas, M.D., Dhiren Patel, M.D., and John R. Peralo, M.D.

This screening is being offered to help detect and prevent colon cancer in participants who meet the following criteria:

Are 50 years of age or older OR
Have a family history of colon cancer
And,

Has not had a sigmoidoscopy or colonoscopy in the past year
Does not have any current gastrointestinal complaints
Is not currently under the care of a gastroenterologist
If detected early, treatment options are much broader and the chances for a cure are much greater. Appointments are limited and must be made by March 15. To schedule an exam, please call the Orange Regional Health Connection at 1-888-321-ORMC (6762).
