Middletown, NY – The Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS), comprised of Catskill Regional Medical Center and Orange Regional Medical Center, is pleased to announce promotions to its Finance leadership.
Linda Gonska, CPA has been promoted to GHVHS Administrator System Controller. Ms. Gonska has been a member of the Orange Regional Medical Center family since 1997, where she started as Senior Accountant at the Horton Campus. Most recently, she held the position of Controller for Orange Regional. In her new role, Ms. Gonska will be Controller for both the Catskill Regional and Orange Regional facilities.
Ms. Gonska obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ramapo College of New Jersey, in Mahwah, New Jersey and her Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Manuela Lupu has been promoted to GHVHS Accounting Manager. Ms. Lupu joined Catskill Regional Medical Center in 2005, as General Account Analyst. In 2012, she became Accountant for Catskill Regional and most recently held the position of Senior Accountant. In her new role, she will be responsible for accounting and payroll staff throughout the System. Ms. Lupu attended the College for Management and Economic Science, in Romania, and is currently pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Accounting at SUNY Orange, in Middletown, New York.
William Scheuermann has been promoted to GHVHS Administrator of Revenue Strategy and Decision Support. Mr. Scheuermann has been with Orange Regional Medical Center for 13 years. He has served in
several roles including Senior Analyst, Manager of Managed Care and most recently as Director of Managed Care and Decision Support. Mr. Scheuermann has made significant improvements to the managed care negotiation process and helped build long term partnerships with the managed care community for the Greater Hudson Valley Health System. In addition to his current areas of responsibility, Mr. Scheuermann will help shape GHVHS’s revenue and price transparency strategies and also lead the implementation of GHVHS’s Decision Support technology solution. This new business informatics technology will provide users with real time information, reports and modeling capabilities.
Mr. Scheuermann obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and his Master of Science degree in Business Administration from State University of New York in New Paltz, New York.
