Middletown, NY – Wendy Manter, MHA, MHS-HIA has joined the Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS) Medical Group as Chief Operating Officer.
Ms. Manter was previously at Maine-General Health in Augusta, ME as Vice President, Sr. Physician Practice Administration. In addition, she also previously served as the Chief Operating Officer at Lowcountry Medical Associates, P.C., a sixty physician primary care practice in Charleston, SC.
In the role of GHVHS Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Manter is responsible for all Medical Group operations on a day to day basis including all of the Orange and Sullivan County based practices. She is responsible for identifying and implementing best practice standards while working in partnership with physicians, management and staff to implement these standards in support of the achievement of medical group and health system initiatives. Ms. Manter works to establish effective and productive working relationships within the medical group and health system leadership team. Her major areas of focus include operational planning and management; implementing strategy and transformational change; supporting growth; cultivating a culture of operational excellence; and developing a high performing / high quality medical group.
