Orange Regional Donates Ultrasound Machine to International Medical Relief Foundation

Middletown, New York — Orange Regional Medical Centerrecently donated an ultrasound machine to the International Medical Relief Foundation (IMRF). The IMRF, led by Chairman and Founder Dr. Hrusikesh Parida (a retired member of Orange Regional’s Medical Staff), collects surplus medical supplies and equipment for distribution to developing countries around the world.

“Orange Regional has a longstanding relationship with the IMRF and we are proud to continue that tradition in 2009,” said Orange Regional President & CEO Scott Batulis. The ultrasound machine is being shipped to a hospital in Cusco, Peru through the combined efforts and funds of Rotary Clubs in Smithtown, Long Island, San Diego, Chile and Cusco, Peru.
