Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of two new spine surgeons to its medical staff, G. Alexander Jones, M.D., of Hudson Valley Neurosurgical Associates and Howard B. Yeon, M.D., of Crystal Run Healthcare. Orange Regional Medical Center’s Spine Program offers comprehensive spine care services and treatment to Hudson Valley residents alleviating the need to travel long distances for specialized care.
Dr. Jones is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine and held residencies at Louisiana State University and the Cleveland Clinic. He completed his fellowship in complex spine surgery and spine biomechanics at the Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute. He is board-eligible for the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Yeon is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. After completing his residency in the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery program at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Yeon completed a fellowship in spine microsurgery, minimally invasive spine techniques, complex spinal deformity and scoliosis at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He is board-eligible for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Orange Regional has a team of experts in all aspects of spine surgery including minimally invasive surgery (for a faster and more comfortable recovery), discectomy, laminectomy, fusion, non-fusion disk replacement or posterior dynamic stabilization as an alternative to spinal fusion for the treatment of low back pain, kyphoplasty, X-stop interspinous spacers, and oncologic spine surgery. Orange Regional also offers accredited inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
