Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center hosted its 2010 Physician Appreciation event on Sunday, June 13 at Glenmere Mansion in Chester. The event honored Orange Regional’s medical staff for its commitment to delivering quality healthcare to the community. A special tribute was paid to William Gotsis, MD and Lewis Broslovsky, MD, for their outstanding leadership and achievements.
Dr. Gotsis was honored with the hospital’s Leadership Award, presented to a physician who continuously takes an active role in the organization, enhances services, programs, education and relationships and exhibits positive leadership among his peers. He is Co-Director of Orange Regional Medical Center’s Cardiac Catheterization Lab and served as Cardiology Department Chair and as a member of the Medical Executive Committee from 2002 – 2009.
Dr. Lewis Broslovsky received the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, given to a physician whose life’s work has made a lasting impact on the quality of healthcare in the community. He was the Chair of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department from January 1998 until September 2007 and served on the Transfusion, Operating Room, Medical Executive and Bylaws Committees.
