(Middletown, NY) – Orange Regional Medical Center is proud to announce Terry Saturno and Maggie Smith as Co-Chairs of its 2009 Annual Golf Classic to be held on Monday, June 15, 2009. This year’s Golf Classic will be held at the Otterkill Golf and Country Club in Campbell Hall and Orange County Golf Course in Middletown. All proceeds will benefit the Comprehensive Cancer Care Program at Orange Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Saturno is the President and CEO of The Orange County Trust Company. She is a native of Middletown and a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Retail Banking, Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange). She is a member of the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation Board; past President of the Kiwanis Club of Middletown; a member of the Middletown Salvation Army Advisory Board; a member of the New York State Bankers Association Education Committee; and a member of the Orange County Community College Educational Foundation Board. She has served on the Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council Finance and Nominating Committees and is a past executive officer of the Mid-Hudson Chapter of the American Institute of Banking.
Ms. Smith is President and Board Member of F irst Federal Savings of Middletown. She previously held the position of Senior Accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick. She is a graduate of Washingtonville High School and the University of Bridgeport. Ms. Smith resides in Port Jervis and is a Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Orange County Citizens Foundation; a Board Member and First Vice President of the YMCA of Middletown; Treasurer of the Middletown Rotary Club; a past Board Member and Treasurer of the Sarah Wells Girl Scout Council; and a past Board Member and Treasurer of Leadership Orange.
Proceeds from the Annual Golf Classic support Orange Regional’s comprehensive oncology program which provides state of the art technology as well as a wide spectrum of care including cancer prevention, early detection and advanced treatment.
This year, the Golf Classic offers three tournament choices. Players can choose a morning or afternoon tournament at Otterkill Golf and Country Club or a late morning tournament at Orange County Golf Course. All players are welcome to join us at a celebratory dinner and awards ceremony at the close of the day at Otterkill Golf and Country Club.
