Middletown, NY- Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the following additions to its nursing leadership team.
Gregg Geisler, RN, BSN has been appointed Trauma Program Nursing Director. Mr. Geisler joined Orange Regional in 1998 as an RN in the Medical/Surgical Unit at the former Horton campus. In his new role, Mr. Geisler will serve as a liaison to administration, representing the Trauma Program on various hospital and community committees. He will also assist in the development of goals and objectives as it relates to trauma care, coordinate services throughout the Greater Hudson Valley Health System and foster a collaborative relationship with member hospitals to facilitate quality trauma care. Mr. Geisler earned his Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Iona College.
Justine Geisler, RN has been promoted to Nursing Unit Director of Orange Regional’s Medical/Surgical Unit. Ms. Geisler joined Orange Regional in 2000 and previously held the position of Clinical Care Coordinator for the Hospital’s Bone & Joint Center. Additionally, she held the position of staff nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at the former Horton campus. Ms. Geisler is a Certified Orthopedic Nurse and a member of the Academy of Medical/Surgical Nursing and the Orthopedic Nurses Association. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from SUNY Cortland and is currently pursuing dual Master’s degrees in Nursing and Health Administration at the University of Phoenix.
Deborah Ann Snyder, RN, MSN, CCRN has accepted the position of Progressive Care Unit Nursing Director. Ms. Snyder began her career at Orange Regional in 2011 as the Cardiovascular Nurse Educator. Previously, she managed Cardiothoracic Critical Care, Coronary Care, Surgical Intensive Care and Trauma Unit care as a Nurse Manager. Ms. Snyder is a certified Critical Care Registered Nurse and has published several articles and lectured on the nursing care of critical care, trauma and elderly patient populations. She has earned several awards including the Sonya Healy Excellence in Nursing Leadership Award from the University of California San Diego and Excellence in Critical Care Nursing Award from Stamford Hospital. Ms. Snyder received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Molloy College and her Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialty in Nursing Administration from UCLA. She is also a certified Critical Care Registered Nurse.
