Middletown, NY- Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce recent additions to its Quality Department. Mary Ellen Crittenden, RN, MS, CPHQ has accepted the position of Director of Quality Support Services. Ms. Crittenden comes to Orange Regional from Ellis Medicine in Schenectady, New York, where she previously held the position of Director of Quality Services/Risk/Patient Safety Officer. Ms. Crittenden received her Master’s degree in Health Administration from New School University in New York and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
Fred Conklin, RN, CMS, CPHQ has been promoted to Manager of Accreditation and Clinical Compliance. Mr. Conklin was previously Quality Clinical Project Coordinator and Manager of Patient Advocacy and Guest Services. Prior to joining Orange Regional, his positions at Newton Medical Center in Newton, New Jersey included Staff RN, Administrative Shift Supervisor and Manager of Medical – Surgical Telemetry Nursing Units. Mr. Conklin received his Associates Degree in Applied Science, Nursing from Orange County Community College. He is currently studying to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
