Orange Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Fundraiser Benefits Critical Care Unit

July 1, 2008

(Middletown, NY) – Orange Regional Medical Center’s Auxiliary is pleased to announce a complete renovation of the Critical Care Unit at the Horton Campus located at 60 Prospect Avenue in Middletown.

In 2007, the Auxiliary raised nearly $150,000 to help offset costs to refurbish the entire Critical Care Unit and its waiting and conference rooms. The funds were raised through vendor sales and helped to purchase new furniture and hardwood flooring for the waiting room, all new patient and visitor chairs, new paint, shades and curtains for patient rooms.

The staff of Orange Regional Medical Center is grateful for the enormous amount of time and energy devoted by the dedicated members of the Auxiliary. By raising funds, organizing special events and by promoting Medical Center programs, these volunteers who donate their time to make Orange Regional Medical Center a better hospital for our community are an invaluable resource.
