Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center announced the appointment of Jonathan Rouis to its Board of Directors. Mr. Rouis serves as the Vice Chairman of the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees and represents the Foundation’s interests at the leadership level while working in collaboration with the hospital’s Board of Directors to bring quality healthcare to our community.
Jonathan Rouis is the Managing Partner at Rouis & Company CPAs, LLP in Wurtsboro, New York where he focuses on corporate accounts across the region. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University.
Mr. Rouis served on the Sullivan County Legislature for nine years, four years as Vice-Chairman of the Legislature and four years as Chairman of the Legislature. His background in accounting and finance has provided him a unique perspective in the current economic crisis, which he used to lead Sullivan County through financial restructuring designed to provide greater transparency and accountability.
Additionally, Mr. Rouis’ community involvement included having once served as President of the Mamakating Rotary, a member of the Hudson Valley Advisory Board of TD Bank North and a member of the Advisory Board of The Community Bank of Sullivan County. He currently serves as a member of Sons of the American Legion, a member of the New York State Association of Certified Public Accountants and is Vice-Chairman of the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees. He resides with his family in Burlingham, New York.
