Middletown, NY- Orange Regional Medical Center is proud to announce that Frank Salvatore, Director of Respiratory, Pulmonary & Sleep Services, was honored at the Connecticut Society for Respiratory Care (CTSRC) Super Symposium, when he was awarded the John and Louise Julius Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Respiratory Care.
This award is given annually to a member of the CTSRC who has gone above and beyond in the practice and advancement of Respiratory Care. “I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award. Frank’s dedication to the continual improvement of patient care is evidenced by his efforts in researching and implementing best practices, policy development, promoting education and awareness of the respiratory therapist’s role in the delivery of care and partnering with clinical staff in identifying and implementing practice changes,” says Orange Regional’s Vice President of Oncology Services and Outpatient Operations, Sandra Iberger. “He’s a lifelong champion of and contributor to the profession of respiratory care – we are fortunate to have him as a member of the Orange Regional team.”
Mr. Salvatore earned his Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from the University of Hartford and received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He is a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care and is a Fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care. Mr. Salvatore is an instructor of the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support classes.
