Orange Regional Medical Center Employees Organize Food Drive to Support Local Food Bank

Middletown, NY- The desire of two Orange Regional Medical Center employees to help those in need in our community led to a two-week food drive at the hospital. Organized by Shelley Caterina and Kathleen Lanier of the Telecommunications Department, The Food Bank of the Hudson Valley located in Cornwall-on-Hudson, received hundreds of pounds worth of non-perishable items donated by hospital employees. The donation was presented to the Food Bank on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 and will help thousands of people struggling with hunger in difficult economic times.
