Middletown, New York – The Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation presented two Orange-Ulster BOCES graduates with $500 scholarships to pursue undergraduate degrees in Nursing.
Gabrielle Kolb, of Port Jervis, will pursue a nursing degree at SUNY Delhi and Megan Mead, of New Hampton, will attend SUNY Orange as a nursing student this fall. Both students graduated from high school in 2009, completing the Principals of Healthcare program at Orange-Ulster BOCES and receiving Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Orange-Ulster BOCES educational initiatives raise standards and develop rigorous programs which prepare their students for a future in healthcare. The goal of Orange Regional Foundation’s Building for Excellence Scholarship is to encourage students to strive for excellence.
