July 13, 2009

(Middletown, New York) — On Monday, June 15, Orange Regional Medical Center’s Foundation held its 18th annual Golf Classic raising net proceeds of $145,000 to benefit the Comprehensive Cancer Care Program at Orange Regional Medical Center.

The Golf Classic had record participation, hosting over 240 golfers. The generous support provided via sponsorships, golfer participation and the donation of goods and services from businesses across the region all led to a tremendously successful event.

Foundation President Christine Maraia said, “We are so pleased with the sustained support of our community as reflected in the 2009 Golf Classic proceeds as well as the donations toward our $21 million “Building for Excellence” Capital Campaign.”
