Orange Regional Medical Center Hosts Grand Re-opening Celebration

Orange Regional Medical Center announces the grand re-opening of the Ray W. Moody M.D. Breast Center. In celebration of the Center’s new home, the hospital will host a grand opening event on Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the newly expanded Orange Regional Medical Pavilion, 75 Crystal Run Road, Town of Wallkill. This event is open to the public.

Breast cancer is among the most common cancers for women in the U.S.

The all new Ray W. Moody M.D. Breast Center provides comprehensive breast care and state-of-the-art diagnostic technology with compassionate and caring staff “experts in the field of breast cancer. Our Board-certified radiologists specialize in Women’s Imaging and use CAD (Computer Aided Detection) to reduce the number of false negative readings and get results back to your doctor quickly.
Services include:

Screening and Diagnostic Mammography , including digital mamography
Breast Ultrasound
Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA)
Ultrasound guided FNA/Core Biopsy
Stereotactic Breast Biopsy
We will soon be introducing new technology for women at high risk for developing breast cancer, Breast MRI and MRI-guided biopsy – a powerful tool for breast-cancer screening which helps patients get earlier and more precise treatments.

While at the open house, view Orange Regional’s new Open Bore MRI which is perfect for claustrophobic or large patients who want the most comfortable, accurate MRI. Patients will find more headroom, legroom and elbowroom in this spacious and quiet MRI.
