Middletown, NY- A wedding intended to take place on New Year’s Day in a church was halted due to an emergency medical issue. The groom, Frank Cassidy, suffered a stroke and was admitted to Orange Regional Medical Center right before the New Year. However, the plans for a New Year’s Day wedding pressed on as Hospital staff provided a day to remember. The happy couple, Frank and Karen Cassidy, were married in the Hospital’s chapel. Members of the Food and Nutrition Department put together a last-minute catered reception for the couple and their guests and nurses acted as wedding photographers.
