Middletown, NY- Dr. Ofer Jacobowitz, the Associate Medical Director of Orange Regional Medical Center’s Center for Sleep Medicine, recently received the Honor Award at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). Dr. Jacobowitz was recognized for his leadership and active participation in the organization and his profession.
Dr. Jacobowitz is a highly experienced clinician with more than 15 years practice in Otolaryngology and maintains board certifications in Head and Neck Surgery, Otolaryngology and Sleep Medicine. He is an active member of national sleep committees and task forces and served as Orange Regional’s Department Chairman of Otolaryngology from 2007 – 2010. Dr. Jacobowitz is a national and international speaker, author and editor of sleep publications on obstructive sleep apnea and is a partner with Hudson Valley Ear, Nose and Throat P.C. Dr. Jacobowitz completed his Medical School training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in New York and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center.
