Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center will be recognized by Orange County Land Trust at its 2015 Benefit Reception on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Cedar Lakes Estate located in the Town of Greenville. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m.
“This year we wanted to focus on the relationship between nature and healthy living,” said Orange County Land Trust Executive Director Jim Delaune. “The benefits of land preservation go much further than simply protecting natural resources and securing access to local food. They promote wellness and improve quality of life. Orange Regional understands this connection and we look forward to working with them on this cause.”
“Preserving Land, Preserving our Health” will be the central theme of the reception, bringing awareness to the positive impact of nature on health and well-being. The Land Trust has been a local leader in land preservation for over twenty years, having helped protect close to 5,000 acres of natural and agricultural lands in the County. The benefit reception is the Land Trust’s largest annual fundraiser.
Accepting Orange Regional’s award at the benefit will be President & CEO Scott Batulis. “We are extremely proud to be recognized by the Land Trust. Orange Regional is dedicated to the health of our community and we will continue to promote healthy lifestyles that encompass the great outdoors Orange County has to offer,” states Batulis.
Guests attending this elegant evening will be treated to a superb farm-to-table dinner expertly prepared by a French Culinary Institute trained chef, unique live and silent auctions, exciting raffles and music by Soulia and the Sultans.
