Middletown, NY- Orange Regional Medical Center held its first art exhibition featuring the talents of the Hospital’s employees, volunteers, physicians and their families. The exhibition presented over 25 pieces of original art including paintings, photography and drawings.
The goal of the exhibition is to provide awareness to our community on the positive impact art has in a healing environment. The works on display exemplify the immense creative talent within the Hospital’s family. Future art shows displaying local talent are being planned.
“Art in healthcare impacts visitors, patients and staff every day. Art can free us to think, dream and sense. This often proves to be an invaluable contributor to any successful healing environment,” says Orange Regional Art Curator, Sarah Thompson.
The art is on display on the ground floor near the cafeteria and will be on available for viewing over the next several weeks.
