Middletown, NY- Theresa Fay Conte joins Orange Regional Medical Center as the Nursing Service Administrator, Women and Children. Ms. Conte will be providing executive nursing leadership to the Rowley Family Birthing Center, our new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit currently under development and the Pediatrics Unit. In addition, she will provide expert consultation on nursing care for women and children throughout Orange Regional Medical Center.
Ms. Conte comes to Orange Regional from Hudson Valley Hospital Center where she served as the Clinical Nurse Manager for the Women’s Pavilion and Neonatal Intensive Care. Prior to Hudson Valley Hospital Center, she worked at Montefiore Medical Center in a variety of positions related to the care of women and children. Ms. Conte also served as the Administrative Nurse Manager for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which served as the Regional Perinatal Center for the Bronx. She earned her Baccalaureate in Nursing from the College of Mount Saint Vincent and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
Laura Mansfield joins Orange Regional Medical Center where she will provide executive nursing leadership to the Emergency Department, Critical Care and Progressive Care Units in her role as Nursing Service Administrator. She brings with her 26 years of clinical and administrative experience at major teaching hospitals within large metropolitan medical centers in New York and New Jersey.
Ms. Mansfield was most recently the Director of Nursing for the Resource Center at Montefiore Medical Center, located in Bronx, New York, where she directed the nurse staffing, scheduling and supervision processes for 1,500 beds across four hospitals. She also held several leadership positions at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Jersey, including Director of Patient Satisfaction and Nursing Director of Medical Telemetry Units. Ms. Mansfield has presented her work on models of high quality patient care, effective inter-disciplinary collaboration and nursing excellence at a number of national conferences. She earned her Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from Trenton State College and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Kean College.
