Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to welcome Alexandra Curiale as Outpatient Physician Liaison.
Ms. Curiale has 10 years experience within the healthcare industry and most recently worked as manager of Physician Recruitment and On-boarding at Westchester Medical Center, where she was responsible for all aspects of physician and mid-level recruitment as well as the on-boarding process and implementation.
“A physician liaison pays a critical role in building and growing relationships with the medical staff and their practice staff,” said GHVHS Vice President of Operations Sandra Iberger. “The liaison works to cultivate positive, open, and helpful relationships among community practices, medical staff, and providers alike. They play a pivotal role in supporting ORMC’s mission of providing exceptional patient care by enhancing the patient and provider experience.”
As Outpatient Physician Liaison, Ms. Curiale is responsible for developing an effective rapport with physicians and their office staff, will market Orange Regional programs to medical establishments, and will facilitate patient and community referrals. She will serve as a conduit between physicians/physician practices and Medical Center leaders in addressing operational issues related to access, timeliness of service and/or quality of care. Ms. Curiale also oversees data mining, identification and report of provider referral trend and works closely with outpatient department leaders in developing provider outreach plans as well as implementing growth and service initiatives.
Ms. Curiale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
