Orange Regional Medical Center Wins Five Marketing & Public Relations Awards

(Middletown) – Orange Regional Medical Center’s Public Relations and Marketing Department received five prestigious national marketing awards from the Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competition and the Aster Awards for excellence in medical marketing.

The Healthcare Advertising Awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, a leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development.

The Department won three Silver 2008 Healthcare Marketing Report Healthcare Advertising Awards in the categories of: Newspaper Advertising/Series for Orange Regional’s Bone & Joint Center; total advertising campaign for Oncology; and for Your Health magazine, Orange Regional’s quarterly publication.

Over 4,400 entries were received in this year’s competition, making it the largest healthcare advertising awards competition nationally. A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact. Orange Regional was among sixteen entrants recognized for their overall excellence and breakthrough advertising production.

The Department also received a Silver Aster Award for its 2006 Annual Report published in Orange Regional’s spring 2007 issue of Your Health magazine and a Gold award for its 2007 total Oncology advertising campaign.

For both Aster awards, the judging panel consisted of healthcare marketers, advertising creative directors, advertising professionals, healthcare consultants and marketing professionals.
