Middletown, NY- The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Orange Regional Medical Center’s Peter Frommer, M.D. Heart Center, located at 707 East Main Street in Middletown, was awarded recertification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) and recognized for its commitment to improving the quality of life of its patients by enhancing standards of care.
Medical Director of Cardiac Rehab, Bonnie Seecharran, M.D. says, “This designation demonstrates our commitment to providing quality healthcare to our patients and community. Our certification ensures our program meets the highest standards of patient care.”
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program participated in a month long, extensive review of its adherence to standards set by the accrediting organization. The program was first awarded certification in 1998 and has maintained certification since that time. Recertification lasts three years.

The Peter Frommer, M.D. Heart Center’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program provides comprehensive services to help patients build a healthier heart. Patients will utilize the state-of-the-art indoor track and a variety of the latest exercise equipment including treadmills, bicycles, stair stepper, arm ergometers and weights. The program is designed to help patients significantly reduce their risk or recurrence of heart disease by helping to restore their health and well-being.
