Orange Regional Medical Center’s Patient Satisfaction Scores Above NORMET Average

January 2, 2013

Middletown, NY- Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of a Quality page to its website. This resource page contains a variety of information including patient satisfaction data which currently reflects an above average ranking for care delivered to Orange Regional’s patients using the Northern Metropolitan Hospital Association (NORMET) benchmark. NORMET represents and supports 30 hospitals in the Hudson Valley region, including Orange Regional, to achieve a collective goal of increasing operational effectiveness and better meet the healthcare needs of communities each hospital serves. Additionally, the Quality page contains a listing of the Hospital’s accreditations and rankings, a section devoted to its patient advocate program and a resources page with links to organizations that provide community members with healthcare education and information.

“Quality is the basis of everything we do at Orange Regional and it is our passion to provide exceptional care to every patient we serve,” says Vice President of Quality, Rosemary Baczewski.

Orange Regional is committed to providing the safest and highest quality care to the community. Teams of experts work together to ensure operational excellence by following the highest standards for quality care – from preventing infections and continuously improving surgical care, to achieving high success rates for the most complex procedures. Performance is measured against the Hospital’s own rigorous standards, as well as national benchmarks, to continually improve how care is delivered.
