Orange Regional Medical Center’s Planned Pediatric Unit Receives Donation from Keller Williams Realty

November 9, 2009

Middletown, New York – Orange Regional Medical Center received a $600 donation from Keller Williams Realty. Recently, Keller Williams hosted its first of many events in support of the new hospital at The Castle Fun Center in Chester. The donation will support the hospital’s planned pediatric unit, opening in the new hospital in Spring 2011.

The Building for Excellence campaign was launched in 2008 in support of Orange Regional’s new hospital construction. To date, the Campaign has received unprecedented support and raised more than $17.4 million towards the goal of $21 million. The campaign will continue through the opening of the new seven-floor hospital in the Town of Wallkill that will feature 354 private patient rooms. Once completed in 2011, it will be one of the largest medical centers between the Tappan Zee Bridge and Albany and provide a broad range of high-quality healthcare services including, but not limited to, general adult and pediatric medical/surgical beds, intensive care, maternity, orthopedics, oncology, and a 50-bay emergency department.

If your organization would like to support the new Orange Regional Medical Center project, please contact Foundation President Christine Maraia at 845-294-2135 or cmaraia@ormc.org.
