July 30, 2014

Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center will host a free seminar “Treatment for Hand and Arm Pain” on Wednesday, August 20, at 3:00 p.m. at Homewood Suites, 180 Breuning Road, New Windsor. The Homewood Suites is located just inside the main entrance to Stewart Airport.

Led by Dr. Samir Sodha, the seminar will focus on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of hand and arm problems as well as complex traumatic and arthritic conditions.

The U.S. Department of Labor and Statistics has concluded that carpal tunnel syndrome is the “chief occupational hazard of the 90’s” – disabling workers in epidemic proportions. Currently carpal tunnel syndrome affects over 8 million Americans, is the number one reported medical problem and accounts for about 50% of all work-related injuries.

Light refreshments will be served. For more information, or to register, please visit www.ormc.org/communityoutreach or call the Orange Regional Health Connections at 1-888-321-ORMC (6762).
