Orange Regional Receives Donation for Emergency Equipment

August 7, 2008

(Middletown, NY) – The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Goshen presented a check on July 28, 2008 for $2,000 to the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation for Emergency Room Equipment at the Arden Hill Campus. The Business and Professional Women’s Club of Goshen was founded in 1958 to fund community services, including the Arden Hill Campus of Orange Regional Medical Center. Since its inception, more than $75,000 has been donated to help fund emergency equipment to Arden Hill Hospital and now Orange Regional Medical Center. In addition, the Club provides two annual scholarships and participates in other community service activities.

Orange Regional Medical Center was created in 2002 through the merger of Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen and Horton Medical Center in Middletown. Orange Regional recently broke ground for a new $320 million state-of-the-art hospital that will be the first community hospital built in New York State in more than 20 years. The public phase of a $21 million capital campaign also recently commenced to help fund the 374-bed hospital.

For more information on how to be a part of this historical occasion and to donate to the new hospital, call the Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation office at 845-294-2204 or visit www.ormc.org.
