Orange Regional to Host Free Seminar on Common Hand Problems

Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center will host a free seminar “Treatment for Hand and Arm Pain” on Thursday, July 24 at 6:00 p.m. at Orange Regional’s Conference Center, 707 East Main Street in Middletown.

Dr. Samir Sodha will discuss diagnosis, treatment and prevention of common hand and arm problems as well as complex traumatic and arthritic conditions.

The U.S. Department of Labor and Statistics has concluded that carpal tunnel syndrome is the “chief occupational hazard of the 90’s” – disabling workers in epidemic proportions. Currently carpal tunnel syndrome affects over 8 million Americans, is the number one reported medical problem and accounts for about 50% of all work-related injuries.
