Orange Regional’s Marketing Department Earns National Recognition

(Middletown, NY) – Orange Regional Medical Center’s Marketing & Public Relations Department received seven prestigious national marketing awards from the Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competition and the Aster Awards for excellence in medical marketing.
The Department won three meritorious awards from Healthcare Advertising Awards in the categories of: Patient Handbook for Orange Regional’s Weight Loss Surgery Patient Education Handbook, the Web Site category for Orange Regional’s newly redesigned Web Site located at www.ormc.org and the Television Commercial category for Orange Regional’s Bone & Joint Center/Orthopedics Services. The Healthcare Advertising Awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, a leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development. A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and overall impact.

The Department also received a Gold Aster Award in the category of: Advertising Specialty for Orange Regional’s stylish logo’d tee shirt. Two Silver Awards were presented in the categories of Outdoor Transit Billboard Advertising for Orange Regional’s Robotic Surgery and in the Physician Directory category for Orange Regional’s 2009 Medical Staff Directory. A Bronze Award was earned in the category of Patient Handbook for Orange Regional’s Weight Loss Surgery Patient Education Handbook. Aster Awards assembled a judging panel that consisted of healthcare marketers, advertising creative directors, advertising professionals, healthcare consultants and marketing professionals.
