Orange Regional Medical Center Announces Mohammad Siddiqui, MD as Trauma Program Medical Director and Director of Surgical Intensive Care Unit
Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the appointment of Mohammad Siddiqui, MD as Trauma Program Medical Director and Director of Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
Dr. Siddiqui is a Trauma Surgeon with Orange Regional Medical Group, part of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS). He completed his medical training in Pakistan before relocating to the United States, where he has spent the past 17 years working in a variety of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Leadership positions in both academic and community medical centers. In addition, Dr. Siddiqui completed his Masters of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Administration.

Orange Regional Medical Center’s Trauma services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to treat severely injured patients. Led by our Trauma Medical Director, the trauma team consists of experienced physicians, advance practice providers and ancillary staff, who are highly skilled in the care of injured patients.
The Trauma department is committed to providing patients with exceptional care through the continuum from Outpatient, Emergency Department, and Rehabilitation services – with the goal of returning the patient to their pre-injury level of function and restoring them to a high quality of living.
From your arrival to follow-up visits and rehabilitation, our highly experienced clinical staff members are trained to triage individual healthcare needs and provide comprehensive, coordinated care, including:
- Trauma surgical services
- Laboratory needs
- Rehabilitation services
- Radiology and Interventional radiology services
- Diagnostic services, including X-ray, CT, and MRI’s
Orange Regional’s Trauma Center is recognized by the New York State Department of Health and is currently working under the guidelines of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma to become a Verified Trauma Center. We have the staffing, facilities and procedures needed to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for the most severe illnesses and injuries.
