(Middletown, NY) – The Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation held its Annual Donor Recognition Reception at the Villa Venezia in Middletown on April 20.
Former Chairman of the Foundation Board of Trustees, Rolland B. Peacock III, was honored with the Leadership Award; Auxiliary President, Florence Sawyer, was honored with the Volunteer Leadership Award; Pepsi Cola of the Hudson Valley was presented with the Corporate Leadership Award and the Middletown Kiwanis Club was presented with the Community Leadership Award.
Foundation Chairman Jonathan Rouis thanked the crowd for their philanthropic support. He praised the efforts of the Foundation Trustees and Orange Regional Medical Center’s Board of Directors, Employees, Volunteers and Auxiliary.
“No one can argue that health care is changing at the speed of light both nationally and right here in our region. But as donors, you should know that Orange Regional is moving forward in every way possible, expanding services while keeping quality a singular focus at all times. While this latest expansion project positions us for the future it also improves health throughout our area. But given the financial margins for hospital these days, it takes philanthropic dollars to keep moving us forward,” Mr. Rouis said.
The evening’s attendees included donors to the Hospital’s Future is Orange Capital Campaign, supporters of the Foundation’s Century Club annual giving program, and Society Club including donors who have made planned estate gifts to benefit the hospital.
