Middletown, NY- The Greater Hudson Valley Health System (GHVHS), comprised of Catskill Regional Medical Center (CRMC) and Orange Regional Medical Center (ORMC), extends its appreciation and gratitude to long time board members who recently completed their service on the System’s Board of Directors. Departing board members include:
• Bill Bassett, Ed.D. – board member since 1995
• Dr. Robert Douglas – board member since 1999
• Woody Levitan – board member since 1989
• Richard Shapiro – board member since 1998
• Alanna Smith – board member since 1994
• John Szefc – board member since 1994
Throughout their tenure, each member had an instrumental role in many of the System’s achievements which include the revitalization of the Greater Hudson Valley Health System, the merger of Arden Hill Hospital and Horton Medical Center into Orange Regional Medical Center, implementation of shared leadership resources between CRMC and ORMC, the construction and opening of ORMC’s new hospital and the expansion of CRMC’s Emergency Department.
