Orange Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Stacy Lynn Britsch, MN, RN, CRNP, CPNP, CPN, CPST, BSN to Nursing Service Administrator of Women and Children’s Services.
In this role, Ms. Britsch oversees the Inpatient Pediatric Unit, Children’s Emergency Department, Child Life Program and Rowley Family Birthing Center including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Lactation Program. Ms. Britsch joined the Orange Regional team in 2014 as a Pediatric nurse where she later accepted the role of Advanced Practice Nurse, Pediatrics Navigator in January 2015. In her most recent role, she served as the Nursing Unit Director for the Inpatient Pediatric Department and the Children’s Emergency Department. Ms. Britsch has been vital in the development and implementation of evidence-based best practice guidelines, which help to enhance the care of children at Orange Regional.
Prior to joining Orange Regional, Ms. Britsch worked as a Patient Care Technician at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center while obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She was also a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Medical / Surgical / Oncology Unit at Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, WA.
Ms. Britsch earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA and a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. She is currently a member of the Society of Pediatric Nurses; the New York Organization of Nurse Executives & Leaders, as well was the American Nurses Association. Ms. Britsch is also an obstetric and pediatric adjunct clinical professor at SUNY Orange in Middletown, NY.
