Spiritual Support Through Our Pastoral Care Program

Our Pastoral Care Program offers patients locations within Orange Regional Medical Center for prayer, thought and reflection. Our certified and experienced clergy members are here to meet our patient where they are - spiritually and emotionally. Whether in our Chapel, located near the Lobby on the first floor, our Shabbos Room, located on the Ground Floor, or at your bedside, our clergy members are here for you and your family.

These services cater to all faiths and may help our patients, their friends and/or family find relief from stress, meaning, healing, hope and comfort in times of conflict or grief, such as:

  • Experiencing conflict, despair or losing hope
  • Confronting serious illness
  • Facing surgery
  • Suffering from trauma
  • Facing life situations which seem to contribute to illness or complicate healing
  • Searching for hope or meaning
  • Facing difficult ethical decisions about treatment
  • Lacking supportive family, friends or a congregation within visiting range

Clergy can have a profound impact on patients and their families in confronting life’s most challenging times.
