Lamaze Weekend Class

Learn breathing/relaxation techniques and what to expect during childbirth at our Lamaze Weekend class for expecting parents. Instructor Ellen Mahony will guide expecting parents through the late stages of pregnancy and childbirth. Class will cover both vaginal and c-section births. Classes meet on Saturday and Sunday and attendance is required on both days.

This class is $100 for both days. Fee is per couple. If you have not already paid by credit card, please be sure to bring your cash or check payment to the first class. Requests for refunds must be made within 30 days after date of the class. When enrolling, please only enroll the mother-to-be. Partners are encouraged to attend at no additional cost.

This class meets at the Orange Regional Medical Center Community Hlth Education Center at 110 Crystal Run Rd. Middletown NY 10941

Please bring a pillow and wear comfortable clothing. Please feel free to bring your lunch or snacks. Light refreshments will be served.

Class/Event Refund Policy: Should you need to cancel your class registration, please call us at 888-321-ORMC (888-321-6762) as soon as possible.

Inclement Weather Policy: The hospital reserves the right to waive part or all course fees if inclement weather patterns result in the cancellation of the course. The level of refund given to enrollees, if any, will be determined by the number of class hours attended by each enrollee.

Couples/Family Enrollment Policy: Certain courses are designed for couples or multiple family members to attend. The fee charged for these courses applies to both persons as a unit (unless otherwise expressed in the event description), and both persons are required to attend. Discount and refund policies apply to both persons as a unit.

Tour our Birthing Center

Expectant parents planning to deliver their new bundle of joy(s) at our Rowley Family Birthing Center are encouraged to join us for a tour of our facilities before their due date arrives. We find that touring the facilities before labor and delivery helps our moms and dads feel more comfortable on this special day.

The new mother’s group unites new mothers and their babies to share experiences, discuss questions with other new moms, exchange ideas and challenges, gain knowledge and learn skills regarding newborn care.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class

Prenatal Breastfeeding class at Orange Regional Medical Center.

This 2 hour class discusses the benefits of breastfeeding to the mother/infant. Discussion topics include: latch-on, proper positioning for breastfeeding & some common situations such as engorgement, soreness, treatments & sleepy baby.
