Patients and loved ones can view hours of operation, visiting hours, and directions for all of our inpatient and outpatient services.

Orange Regional Medical Center: Main Campus

The main campus of Orange Regional Medical Center is located at 707 East Main Street, Middletown, NY 10940. Many of our specialty and service centers are located on our main campus. Depending on the medical care you are seeking, you may be instructed to enter at one of our four main entrances:

From the East:

Take I-84 West. Merge onto NY-17 East via Exit 4E toward New York.
Take Exit 122 - East Main Street / Crystal Run Road.
Take right at light onto East Main Street.
Drive approximately 0.3 miles.
Hospital entrance will be on your right.

From the West:

Take I-84 East.
Merge onto NY-17 East via Exit 4E toward New York.
Take Exit 122 - East Main Street / Crystal Run Road.
Take left at light onto East Main Street.
Drive approximately 0.3 miles.
Hospital entrance will be on your right. 

From the North:

Take I-87 South / New York State Thruway South.
Take Exit 17 - Route 17K / I-84 / Newburgh / Stewart Airport.
Pay toll and follow signs for I-84 West.
Merge onto I-84 West.
Merge onto NY-17 East via Exit 4E toward New York.
Take Exit 122 - East Main Street / Crystal Run Road.
Take a right at light onto East Main Street.
Drive approximately 0.3 miles.
Hospital entrance will be on your right. 

From the South:

Take I-87 North / New York State Thruway North.
Take Exit 16, NY 17 toward US 6 / Harriman.
Merge onto NY-17 West. Take Exit 122 - Crystal Run Crossing
Turn right at first light.
Turn right at next light onto Crystal Run Road; Crystal Run Road turns into East Main Street.
Drive approximately 0.6 miles.
Hospital entrance will be on your right.

Orange Regional Substance Abuse & Counseling Services

Orange Regional Medical Center's Family Program is located at 75 Crystal Run Road, Suite 135, Middletown, NY 10941. This off-site outpatient location houses the following programs:

Take Route 17 West to Exit 122 (Crystal Run Crossing).
Turn right at first traffic light and left at the next traffic light (Crystal Run Road). The Orange Regional Medical Pavilion is located on the left.

 

From the North or East:

Take the NYS Thruway (I-87) South to Exit 17 (Newburgh).
Take I-84 West to Exit 4E (Route 17 East).
Take Route 17 East to Exit 122 (East Main Street).
At traffic light, turn left onto Crystal Run Road.
The Orange Regional Medical Pavilion is located 1/3 mile on the left.

From the Westt:

Take Route I-84 East to Exit 4E (Route 17 East).
Take Route 17 East to Exit 122(East Main Street).
At traffic light, turn left onto Crystal Run Road.
The Orange Regional Medical Pavilion is located 1/3 mile on the left.

Outpatient Rehab & Community Health Education Center

Orange Regional Medical Center's Outpatient Rehabilitation Center and our Community Health Education Center are located at 110 Crystal Run Road, Middletown, NY 10941. This off-site outpatient location houses the following programs:

There are two separate entrances located under blue awnings at the front of the building. Rehabilitation is the second awning from the road and our Health Education Center is the third awning from the road.

Turn right at the next traffic light and then make a left into the parking lot.

From the North or East:

At traffic light, turn right onto Crystal Run Road.

Wound Healing Center & Center for Sleep Medicine

Orange Regional Medical Center's Wound Healing Center and Center for Sleep Medicine are located at 75 Crystal Run Road, Middletown, NY 10941. Within the Medical Pavilion, these two outpatient locations are housed at the following suite numbers:

Visiting Hours & Policies

Family and friends can help speed your recovery and make you feel better by keeping their visits brief and cheerful. We ask that no more than two persons at a time visit each patient, and that you are considerate of the needs of other patients who may share your room.

Visitors are asked to adhere to the visiting hours and must obtain a visitor's pass at the Information Desk in the Main Lobby.

Latex Balloon Policy

Latex balloons are not permitted in patient care areas.In the interest of protecting our patients, visitors and staff from allergic reactions, latex balloons are not permitted in patient care areas. Mylar balloons are a safe alternative.

No Smoking Policy

Smoking is prohibited on hospital property at Orange Regional Medical CenterConsistent with our commitment to good health and safety, Orange Regional Medical Center is a Tobacco-Free facility. Visitors may not smoke in patient rooms or anywhere on hospital grounds.

Mother / Baby
9:00 AM - 9:00 PM for visitors 13+ years.
Siblings of any age are welcome!

Please, no visitors between 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM This is "Mommy & Me Rest Time," with the exception of significant other.


Labor and Delivery
For the safety of mom and baby, visitation to our labor and delivery rooms are limited to significant other and two support people.

Oncology
There are no visitation restrictions.


Progressive Care Unit
9:00 AM - 9:00 PM


Intensive Care Unit
9:00 AM - 9:00 PM for visitors 13+ years.
Limited to two visitors at a time.
Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis.


NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
Visiting hours are as follows:

  • Parents: 24 hours/day
  • Grandparents: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Other Adult Visitors: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Siblings of the Baby: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Pediatrics
9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
No visitation restrictions for parents or guardians.


Medical /Surgical
9:00 AM - 9:00 PM


Rehabilitation Unit

Bariatric Unit

Behavioral Health
Monday - Friday:

Limited to two visitors at a time. Visitors must be 18 years and older. Approval necessary for younger visitors.


Free Valet Parking

We are pleased to announce the implementation of a free hospital valet parking service for all patients and visitors. The service, provided by Orange Regional’s Security Department, will be located at the hospital’s main entrance.

Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00a.m. – 9:00 p.m., excluding holidays and weekends.
